 Valencia Coverings (VC) was founded by visionary designer, Richard Sampedro, who aspired to bring his own appreciation for luxury and quality design to the United States.

 In 2001, Sampedro opened his first store, Valencia Clay Tiles in Miami Lakes, Florida, and solely distributed clay products such as terracotta, ceramic tiles, and fiberglass panels.

 A year later, Valencia Clay Tiles added a greater selection of surfaces that included glass and mosaics, as well as many porcelain products from Italy, Spain and Japan. It was then when the company’s name was officially changed to Valencia Coverings.

 With a fabulous showroom and a unique selection of floor and wall coverings that will add interest, luxury and beauty to any space, Valencia Coverings has become a renowned and leading retailer in the design industry; recognized by top designers, architects, builders and homeowners alike.
